Dr Paweł Siechowicz

Paweł Siechowicz, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Institute of Musicology, University of Warsaw, Poland. In his research, he explores the interconnections of music and art in the works of Central European composers (i.a. Čiurlionis, Różycki, Schönberg), as well as the ideas and practices linking music and economy in the 18th and 19th centuries. His scholarly interests span interdisciplinary areas: music and economy, music and painting, music and literature, and music and nature.
As a translator, music critic, and educator, he focuses on enhancing the listening experience. He is a regular contributor to Ruch Muzyczny magazine, the Chopin Museum in Warsaw, Polish Radio Chopin, and PWM Edition. His scholarly articles and reviews have appeared in leading Polish musicological and art history journals, including Muzyka, Roczniki Humanistyczne, Res Facta Nova, Rocznik Historii Sztuki, Scontri, and Notes Muzyczny.
