Studies at the Institute of Musicology, University of Warsaw, cover fields such as ethnomusicology, anthropology, music aesthetics, music acoustics, psychology of music, as well as a wide range of topics relating to music history and analysis, music criticism, including popular music, jazz and contemporary music. Classes in music theory, new compositional techniques, aural analysis and methodology enable those without previous musical training to master the basics of the musicologist’s craft.
