The Ethnomusicology Students’ Scientific Association has been active since 2003. Members are interested in traditional ethnic music from all over the world, music seen from the perspective of field and archive research. In addition, we study ethnic minorities, links between folk music and other disciplines of art, functioning of traditional culture today and its modern interpretations.

We would like to encourage you to read our latest publication, Zeszyty Koła Naukowego Etnomuzykologii UW. Tom III, which has been reviewed by Dr hab. Piotr Dahlig, associate professor, and Dr hab. Zbigniew Przerembski, associate professor. Editor-in-chief: Anastasiya Niakrasava. Zeszyty KNE UW is available in various libraries, including the Library of the Institute of Musicology and University of Warsaw Library.
