On the basis of 19 pieces recorded during a Mass in Llallagua (Bolivia)\u201d, 1983). Since 1985 she has been working at the Institute of Musicology, University of Warsaw. The title of her doctoral thesis (Faculty of History, University of Warsaw, 1992) was \u201cMusical culture of the Inca metropolis. The role of Spanish chronicles of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries in the ethnomusicology of the Andes\u201d. She obtained her post-doctoral degree on the basis of the thesis \u201cThe ritual of sound. Music in the Nasca culture\u201d (Faculty of History, University of Warsaw, 2005).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">She specialises in the anthropology of music and American studies, carrying out ethnomusicological, historical and archeomusicological research in Peru, Ecuator and Bolivia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Completed original projects funded by the State Committee for Scientific Research and Ministry of Science and Higher Education:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cArcheomusicological studies of the panpipes from the Cahuachi site, Nasca culture (Peru)\u201d (1 H01G 016 11) (1996\u20131997)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cPanpipes in cultures of the Andes. Comparative research on the symbolism of the sound space\u201d. (1 HO1H 011 16) (1999\u20132001)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cCeramic musical instruments of the Nasca culture (Peru).
