S<\/span>he completed her studies at the Institute of Musicology, University of Warsaw, in 1994. In 1998 she obtained a doctoral degree on the basis of the thesis \u201cDodecaphony and serialism in the oeuvres of twentieth-century Polish composers\u201d, written under the supervision of Prof. dr hab. Maciej Go\u0142\u0105b. She obtained her post-doctoral degree on the basis of the Sonotistics in the Works of Twentieth Century Polish Composers <\/em>(Faculty of History, University of Warsaw, 2011). Her most recent publications include a monograph entitled\u00a0\u201cPisz\u0119 tylko muzyk\u0119\u201d .<\/em>Kazimierz Serocki<\/em> (Krak\u00f3w 2020) as well as a selection of the composer\u2019s lectures and interviews (Krak\u00f3w 2022). In 1998 she held a scholarship from the Foundation for Polish Science. Winner of the Reverend Professor Hieronim Feicht Prize awarded by the Polish Composers\u2019 Union (2001) and the PCU\u2019s Honorary Prize (2014).<\/p>\n Her research interests relate primarily to the history, theory and aesthetics of twentieth- and twenty-first-century music, especially that of Polish composers. In addition, she specialises in the methodology and analysis of musical works. She also popularises musical knowledge: since 2012 she has been involved in on-line projects like musical collections (Lutos\u0142awski, Penderecki, G\u00f3recki, Panufnik, Kilar) on ninateka.pl, websites like\u00a0musicinmovement.eu<\/a> or mapofcomposers.pl<\/a>.<\/p>\n Member of the Board of the Polish Composers\u2019 Union and deputy chair of the Musicological Section. Since 2015 she has served as deputy president of the Polish Society of Musical Analysis. Since 2016 she has been the editor-in-chief of\u00a0Polski Rocznik Muzykologiczny<\/em><\/a>, and since 2019 a member of the Advisory Board of the book series\u00a0Musical Cultures of the Twentieth Century (Routledge)<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" he completed her studies at the Institute of Musicology, University of Warsaw, in 1994.
